A Message From Our Founder

As a first time mom, I spent countless hours researching and reading through "must-have" lists for welcoming a new baby. One thing that was repeatedly mentioned was burp cloths - lots and lots of burp cloths. It wasn't until my baby, Christopher, was born that I realized why burp cloths were stressed so much - there wasn't a day that went by where I didn't have spit-up on me, at least for the first several months. I even purchased additional burp cloths within the first week of bringing Christopher home - my favorite being the ones made of 100% organic cotton. However, despite how much I loved and used them, it was a struggle keeping the burp cloths in place while bending over to pick Christopher up, let alone keep them in place with a squirmy baby. This is when I came up with the idea for our original burp cloth ponchos (and our company, Baby Burps Co). Simply designed, sustainably sourced, and functional. It's a product I wish I had during my baby's first year, and I hope it will bring ease and simplicity to mothers everywhere.
